Last year after 40 years, we ripped out all our tired evergreen landscaping in front of our house. For the past year we searched and searched for someone to take on our relatively small project -- 50 feet of planting. The landscape designers we called would come out to see our area and then forget about us. We wondered if the landscape gods were laughing at us because we removed everything on Earth Day. Then we met Jill Davis, and we are beyond thrilled with our new front yard! Jill is a delight to work with. Our first meeting, she spent most of an afternoon getting to know us and what we liked. Our front landscaping is tailored to our preferences, including the seasonal color we prefer and how much time we want to spend tending to it. She designed beautiful lighting for us for security as well as showcasing our new tree. She also suggested a reasonably priced watering system that we could install ourselves. It has been several weeks since the plantings have gone in, and we have received several compliments from our neighbors. Along with us, they are pleased with the results. An amazing designer with stunning vision, working with Jill is pure joy. She provided an abundance of ideas and options as she designed the makeover of our 30 year old landscape. Working with what we like and didn’t like, and our level of plant knowledge, she always made us feel like we were working together. Thank you Jill for all the work involved in transforming our front beds and paver walkway. We absolutely love the Brussels pavers with the added black stone edgin that you recommended, along with the plantings and removal of ground cover it is a complete update to our home and we love how it looks when we pull into the drive. We are also thankful that you and your team were knowledgeable and able to install French drains on all of our downspouts eliminating all water puddling around the foundation when it rains. Our back and side yard look wonderful too, your team was able to remove a huge tree that was diseased and nicely clean out dead branches and reshape trees which has made a huge visual improvement. We love how you were able to extend our existing berm to accommodate the installation of a beautiful fence and plant interesting new trees and bushes to enhance and transform our back and side property.
